Students and Teachers

Most of the church leaders requiring training around the world are already in ministry. As you browse this section you will read stories of committed men and women faithfully fulfilling the call of God. You will read about Bible College graduates, successfully leading their churches and affecting change in their communities!

Name:  William
Bible School:  Assemblies of God Bible College, Liberia

I accepted Jesus as my Lord and personal Savior in 1987 and was baptized in water.   A few years later I received the baptism in the Holy Spirit.  Then in 1994 I was called as an evangelist in the local church.

I became an assistant pastor in 2001 and later senior pastor in 2007 at the same church. While serving as senior pastor, I was constantly praying and asking for assistance to attend a Bible college.

This year (2011) I enrolled at the Liberia Assemblies of God Bible College, without knowing how my fees will be paid.  This college is helping to form me into the minister that I must be to fulfill God’s call upon my life.

Few students have the academic excellence that Misha brings, but he needs help to pay for his graduate work in theology. Will it be you?

Name: Emmanuel
Bible School:  Pentecostal Bible College, Malawi

As a young man, Emmanuel lived far from God.  One day a believer prayed for him to be healed of chronic headaches.  As a result of this healing, Emmanuel was convinced that Jesus was indeed the Christ and he received Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior.

Emmanuel began to share his testimony and tell others of the good news of Jesus.  He especially began to speak to the young people about living right for Christ.  Emmanuel started a church which he currently pastors and is also involved in planting other churches.  Emmanuel realized that he needed training if he was to lead God’s people effectively and well.  He is married, has 4 children and is now enrolled as a first year student at the Pentecostal Bible College of Malawi.

Emmanuel’s vision is, ‘to preach the gospel and plant churches where people do not know Christ.’  He has a heavy burden for the youth of Malawi.  PBC’s mission is to build young men like Emmanuel into strong, Spirit filled followers of Jesus Christ.
